Finding Fulfillment in Growth
I am responsible for repairing equipment and machines at customer factories. Although this is a specialized job involving machines, I started with no prior experience. In my previous job, I worked at a drugstore for about two years, where I discovered the joy of working with products through tasks such as adjusting the store layout. This experience led me to transition to a career in manufacturing at Unitech System. I was excited by the idea of repairing machines rather than developing them. Having started this career with no prior experience, I have had many opportunities to learn a wide range of knowledge and feel my own growth. Using my acquired skills and knowledge to repair machines gives me a great sense of accomplishment.
Helping Each Other Is What We Do
When I encounter problems or challenges, I never have to deal with the problems alone. Our team works together to solve them. When I started this job, there were many things that I didn’t understand. However, the supportive culture here has helped me feel comfortable in my role. I come from a liberal arts background and worked in a different industry with no prior knowledge of electrical or mechanical fields. However, with the generous support of my supervisors and colleagues, I’ve been able to develop my skills step by step. I’m grateful for the opportunities to study and grow during work hours. With a strong support system here, I believe new employees can grow with ease.

Thinking Deeply Immersing Fully
I specialize in designing machines, working with both hardware and software. My job involves renewing and upgrading outdated equipment while keeping the original specifications intact, in order to extend the lifespan of the machines. Having studied electronic machinery at a technical school, I can apply my knowledge in my work. Even when hardware is functioning perfectly, control software can sometimes have troubles. In some cases, a full renewal of a machine is required. Each project is unique and requires creative solutions. Since the problems with machines are never the same, I enjoy solving them through trial and error on my own.
The Joy of Turning My Passion into a Career
I find great satisfaction in seeing machines perform exactly as I imagined. The challenge of realizing complex movements makes my work even more rewarding, especially when I overcome design and control obstacles. While things don’t always go as planned, when I finally see a machine I worked on work as imagined after going through trial and error, it brings me indescribable joy. This passion is why I can confidently say that this job is my true calling. If you enjoy thinking and problem-solving like I do, you’re sure to find this work captivating. There’s nothing more fulfilling than doing a job you truly enjoy.

Turning Customers’ Vision into the Perfect Product
I am involved in the development of our product, “Takumi-kun”, handling everything from design to production and maintenance. “Takumi-kun” is a five-axis machining machine used for processing wood and metal. This product is usually introduced to educational settings related to manufacturing and is customized to meet customers’ needs, like wanting a standard machine installed, adding or moving a switch here or there, or with different safety specifications. I work on both hardware and software, covering a wide range of responsibilities. While I handle all aspects of smaller projects, we usually work together as a team.
Enjoying Golf and Making the Most of My Time Off
At Unitech System, each department handles different products and responsibilities. However, we actively share any relevant issues or expertise, promoting cooperation across the company to address challenges together. We provide extensive support to new employees, teaching them electrical and mechanical knowledge from the ground up. As a result, anyone with motivation can make progress, even without prior experience.In addition, with the flexible paid leave policy, we can maintain a healthy work-life balance and value our private time at Unitech System. I make the most of my days off by playing golf. Unitech System allows me to maintain a balance between my work and private life.
